Searching for Clean(er) Searches

Articles

If there is one year for positive change, look no further, it’s 2017. Because there’s no better time than now to do something, but also because this world, on so many levels (well, you know, you’ve been there too) was seriously derailed in the past couple of years.

You are probably involved already, struggling with small or large steps to make a difference in the world, to have a positive impact, minimize your carbon footprint, leave the air breathable and the water drinkable for your kids and their kids. You probably cycle, volunteer, decided to run for office (yay!), sign petitions, enjoy the outdoors. But by the end of your life you will still have spent a few good years staring into a screen. Due to nature of work or for entertainment only, it’s gonna be years, trust me. They add up. Worry not though, you can make a difference even in front of a computer screen doing your daily searches.

MotoCMS Review: An Incredible Drag and Drop Ecommerce Builder for All

Articles Ecommerce Reviews

A drag and drop website builder generally gets a high recommendation from a guy like me. This is because I know that many ecommerce professionals and website designers in general are not all that experienced when it comes to making a site. Therefore, they don't want to touch any code.

But drag and drop builders also provide benefits for advanced users, seeing as how you can cut down on time spent developing and pump out more website designs for clients.

Freelancing Options for Ecommerce Development and Design

Articles

Finding a place to hire an ecommerce designer or developer is a little trickier than it might initially seem. You have the option to go with job boards, expert communities or cheap labor sites.

I'm not about to directly recommend places like Upwork and Freelancer.com. Although I've had a few logos designed by people on Fiverr, we're talking about constructing and managing your ecommerce website. These are some of the more complex forms of websites out there, so it's not recommended considering you can find somewhat affordable designers and developers who are known to do a great job.

Getting Value From Online Graphic Design Courses

Articles

As with anything else you do in life, even if you're already extraordinarily rich, you should seek value when doing graphic design courses. When you spend money on something that is inferior and bad value, you are simply encouraging substandard providers to continue ripping people off, wasting your money, and most likely wasting your time as well.

In this article, we'll take a look at the different options available to help you achieve your desired outcome in the least time with the lowest cost. Those criteria are important, because the value determination is decided by the following formula:

The Future | Inspired by Nature

Articles

Nature* feeds us, purifies the air we breathe and the water we drink. Unbeatable booster, it cures stress, sadness, reenergizes humans. It’s all around us but most of us fail to appreciate it or even notice it, which is a bit like turning the back on our own selves. No, we’re not going into a philosophical discussion about nature, and how our own beings are (part of) nature. We’re just trying to remind you of the importance of looking at nature – an incredible source of endless inspiration on top of everything else.

Avoidable Design Flaws That Can Hurt Your Site

Articles

The web was supposed to get better, that was the promise. And you'd think it would have, with all the increased awareness of accessibility and usability considerations. But strangely enough, we're more than 25 years in, and things are actually getting worse in general. How could this be so?

It can't be blamed on education. Every course in Internet Design and Development worth its salt covers the fundamentals of good design principles, usability, and accessibility. It can't be blamed on the engineering standards, because the W3C guidelines are stricter and more clearly defined than ever before. Nor can it be blamed on technology, because the technology is more supportive of developing high quality sites, not less.
