Finding a customer relationship management (CRM) software, sales tools and ecommerce platform is not exactly a simple task. What makes it even more difficult is that you generally have to combine or integrate multiple services to make it all work well for your business. However, Infusionsoft has a different plan for you.

I know some companies are not interested in committing to a full suite of services right now, but that's why it's primarily for more established companies that are looking to streamline their processes.

The prices seem high at first for Infusionsoft, but that's because you don't really need to have any other complementary software to go with it.

The main product is a CRM, but it also includes modules for email marketing, marketing automation, sales and a full ecommerce platform. Now that you look at the lowest plan pricing of $199 per month, that's actually rather reasonable.

So, we wanted to give a good look to Infusionsoft to see if it's worthwhile for ecommerce webmasters to invest in. Keep reading to learn more about Infusionsoft, and really take a look at your current tools to see if the combined integrations end up costing you more and make it more complex than you would like.

Infusionsoft Features

A Powerful CRM

Most people initially look at Infusionsoft because they want to implement a solid CRM for their business. The short story is that Infusionsoft has one of the best CRMs in the business. It's cleaner than most I've seen, and it allows for importing contacts, tagging and segmentation.

crm

My favorite part is that you can score certain customers based on your past interactions. So, for example, if someone is wasting a ton of your customer service time, it may be time to consider whether or not they are worthwhile having as a customer. The follow-up messages are also useful for when you'd like to contact people based on their unique customer profiles. Overall, the CRM is enough for me to recommend Infusionsoft to small businesses.

Marketing Automation with Lead Capture and Emails

Although the marketing automation has some handy tools for B2B companies, it's also an interesting system for ecommerce websites. For example, you have the chance to send out relevant email messages based on the time and customer needs. Anyone in ecommerce realizes how important timeliness is, considering a birthday, rush order or holiday craze needs to be taken care of unless you want to lose money.

The marketing automation tools are there for building landing pages, tracking movements on your website and personalizing the communications that go out to all of your customers. The whole system seems to create a funnel that integrates into the CRM, giving you a quality environment to work with.

Sales Automation with Emails, Tasks and Appointments

The sales automation plan is really more for B2B companies or services. However, I'll still cover what's provided. You gain access to comprehensive lead scoring tools, quote and order management, and pipeline management. Bringing in new leads looks fairly intuitive with Infusionsoft, and the email notifications to sales reps are certain to help companies out.

The Ecommerce Platform

This is the bread and butter for our website, since the Infusionsoft digital storefront is no slouch at all. A full online storefront is provided, where you can setup a shopping cart with the most popular payment processing solutions. Order forms are available for you to customize, while fulfillment, inventory management and recurring payments are all packaged into the platform.

post purchase

My favorite part would have to be post-purchase automation, which sends out messages prompting people to come back to your store. Coupons are possible through these messages, and you can customize just about everything in there.

Overall, this ecommerce platform is kind of the opposite of Shopify: it has all the tools included (whereas with Shopify you generally have to implement several apps), but you need a bit of development skills to come up with a decent-looking store..

Integrations

intergations

Want to combine your Intuit Quickbooks interface with Infusionsoft? That's not a problem at all. Would you like access to the Infusionsoft API to integrate your own custom code into the system?

Not only is the API available to developers, but you receive access to integrations like Facebook, Blogger, MailChimp, WordPress and much more.

Although you don't get your own free trial to play around with the Infusionsoft platform yourself, the company does offer three options for seeing it in action. One of them is an online demo, another a live webinar demo and the third is a personalized demo from one of their small business experts.

Once you decide that you'd like to utilize Infusionsoft for your business, five plans are available for you:

  • Essentials – For $199 per month you get a CRM, marketing automation, 2,500 contacts, 12,500 emails per month and support for three users.
  • Deluxe (Sales automation) – For $299 per month you get everything from the previous plan, sales automation, 5,000 contacts, 25,000 emails per month and support for four users.
  • Deluxe (Ecommerce) – For $299 per month you get everything from the Essentials plan, ecommerce functionality, 5,000 contacts, 25,000 emails per month and support for four users.
  • Complete – For $379 per month you get the CRM, marketing automation, sales automation, ecommerce functionality, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails per month and support for five users.
  • Team – For $599 per month you get everything from the previous plan, 20,000 contacts, 100,000 emails per month and support for ten users.

Infusionsoft Support

Support for a platform like this has to be amazing. If you're not able to reach out to someone when you're managing a CRM, marketing tools, ecommerce site and all the other bells and whistles, it's not going to end well. Luckily, the Infusionsoft team seems to have you covered pretty well, considering they offer a chat box and phone number that you can call at anytime. What's more is that they provide email support for people who don't mind waiting a few hours for a reply.

The Infusionsoft company is active on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, and the blog is one of the more impressive ones I've seen. It covers topics that are relevant to the modern digital age, so I would highly recommend signing up for the email newsletter, even if you don't end up going with Infusionsoft.

A Knowledge Center also comes along with your customer support, so if you'd like to complete some of the research yourself, a search box is there for asking questions and discovering what might be going wrong with your own platform.

Who is Infusionsoft Best For?

This one is plain and simple. If you don't want to work with multiple systems for your website, marketing, sales and CRM, go with Infusionsoft. It's affordable, powerful, clean and pretty darn easy to learn.

Sounds really interesting. I am also considering Getresponse’s solution. They have email marketing, marketing automation, and many more features. I guess it’s quite a powerf
